PROJECTS

Scope of Work

CCI was awarded two separate scope packages associated with the existing plant water run-off systems. The Underground Storage Tank (UST) 389 replacement and the Coal Pile Run-Off (CPRO) underground piping projects were completed as part of environmental improvements. The scope of work included demolition of existing tanks/structures, demolition of underground piping, rerouting of piping, site preparation, HDPE placement, concrete placement, and installation of new above ground tanks. CCI’s self-perform civil / concrete and structural teams placed the new foundations, set the process equipment, and erected the associated miscellaneous steel. In addition, our team managed the mechanical piping, electrical and specialty environmental contractors.

The projects were executed in multiple phases working around live equipment and planned outage schedules. Each phase was precisely coordinated with plant operations to maximize productivity and achieve the overall completion dates with minimal disruption.

As a proven industrial contractor, our team offered our client the confidence and self-perform expertise to safely execute the project deliverables. In addition, our client received a long-term solution for their industrial water needs.
